Dr. Nivia Binett-Carroll

Nivia has her doctorate of Natural Health from Clayton College, she started her career as an Occupational Therapist where she received her Master’s Degree in 1995 from Florida International University.  She is certified as a Health and Nutritional Counselor from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is also a Certified Holistic Counselor from The International Board of African Thinkers, Traditional Priests, Priestesses, Healers and Religion, Inc.

 Nivia is owner of Excel Wellness N Rehab a clinic that provides therapy for stroke victims and other physical injuries located in Pembroke Pines, FL.  She teaches a Juicing series at Nutrition Smart and Continuing Education class at Miami Dade Community College. She is cofounder the Alternative Health Series a FREE forum partnered with the Broward Libraries.  For two years she co-hosted the Miami radio show Healthy Choices, which was sponsored by the National Cancer Association.  She has appeared on Telemundo and her advice articles have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines.  She is committed to serving her community in order to help people learn how they can make changes in their lives to be healthier and happier.

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
